Commissioned by the Wüstenrot Stiftung and in collaboration with Rabe Landschaften, the publication Das Fleckchen Erde für rurbane Zukunftslandschaften presents the findings of a multi-year research project on the use of rural spaces. Through 40 site visits across Germany, the team documented how land is accessed, shared, or privatised. The design reflects territorial divisions with precise layout grids and a debossed cover mapping the visited locations. Organic greens and an open binding underline the book’s documentary nature, positioned between field diary and future-oriented guide.
